Singer/songwriter Kate Ball released her first original EP, "inkblotssayblah", at the age of seventeen. Written and performed by Kate Ball, ibsb contains a mixture of melodic rock, heartfelt lyrics, and raw emotion - the EP was the blueprint future of Kate Ball's music. 
Now twenty-three, Kate Ball is the front lady and sole songstress of the Fort Collins, Colorado based band, "Assets of the Universe". AotU is a loud. Rockful. Angst-driven. Alternative rock band.
Assets of the Universe has just released their first full length album, "Lonesome Alibi", which can be found on iTunes, Napster, Last FM, Amazon, MySpace, and of course, the Assets of the Universe website.
